This page will provide commonly asked questions about making purchases inside the event. For general Chilifest event information, visit their FAQ Page.

PAYMENT METHODS ACCEPTED AT THIS EVENT:

Chilifest payments inside the event will be accepted either with your wristband or credit/debit card.


 Credit cards will be accepted at all Chilifest vendors. You can also register your RFID wristband to link a card directly to your wristband for payments or you can visit a top-up station to add funds to your wristband via cash.

Tickets and Wristband Shipping

When will I receive my wristband?

Wristbands will begin shipping on March 27th, 2026 and guests should receive it by March 31, 2026.

I purchased my wristbands before the cutoff date but have not received them yet. Who should I contact?

If you purchased before 11:59 PM ET on March 22, 2026 and it is after April 6th and you still have not received your wristband you can contact chilifest@intellitix.com. Please provide your confirmation number, purchaser’s name, and the shipping address.

I lost my wristband or never received it in the mail, how do I get a replacement?

Lost wristbands can be replaced for $10 at will call. Never-received wristbands will be replaced free of charge, pick up at will call from 11am to midnight on Friday and Saturday. ID is required, originally lost wristbands will be cancelled.

The order I received is missing wristbands or different from what I purchased. What should I do?

Wristbands are shipped by order, meaning that if you purchased tickets at different times, they will be shipped to you separately. Wristbands are fulfilled and shipped in batches, so you may not receive all of your orders on the same day. 

If by April 6th, you have not received all of your orders, or the order you received was incorrect, please email chilifest@intellitix.com with the following information:

  • Purchaser full name
  • Order confirmation number (of not received or incorrect order)
  • Shipping address
  • Expected order items 
  • Items you did receive (please include the 16-digit UID on the back of the wristband chip)

What do I do if I made an error in my shipping address or it changed?

Shipping addresses need to be changed by 11:59 PM ET on March 15, 2026. To update your address please email chilifest@intellitix.com with the following information:

  • Purchaser full name
  • Order confirmation number
  • Shipping address that was entered when purchasing
  • The address you would like it changed to

What happens if I do not purchase before the shipping cut-off date?

Any purchases made after the shipping cutoff date of 11:59 PM ET on March 22, 2026 will receive a PDF ticket in their email when purchasing. This PDF ticket can be taken to the box office at the event to be exchanged for your wristband.

My buddy and I purchased our tickets on the same day. They received their order, but I have not received mine. Should I be worried?

Not to worry! Wristbands are fulfilled and shipped in batches. If you purchased your tickets by 11:59 PM ET on March 22, 2026, but have not received your package by April 6th, please email chilifest@intellitix.com with the following information:

  • Purchaser full name
  • Order confirmation number
  • Shipping address

Intellitix Account

Why is it important to create your Intellitix Account?

  • Allows you to attach a payment method to your wristband. An attached payment method allows you to spend directly from your card so you don’t need to worry about pulling out your wallet or card to pay for quicker transactions.
  • Allows you to view all of your event transactions and send yourself receipts in one place.
  • Allows you to freeze your wristband so someone else can’t use your funds if the wristband is lost or stolen.
  • Allows you to retrieve a new wristband from the box office if yours is lost or stolen.

Can I link more than one wristband to my Intellitix Account? 

No. An Intellitix account can only be connected to one Chilifest wristband. For any additional wristbands, they should be given to the person that is going to use it so they can make their own account and add the wristband and card to it. We need to make another account but only have one email address, what should we do?

If you share an email address you can follow these steps to make two different accounts.

  1. Start by creating the first account with the email address you have. Make sure to go all the way through with creating the account: go to account.intellitix.com/sign-up enter your info, click the link in the verification email you are sent, then add your wristband and payment method. Then sign out of this account. For the full steps of creating and setting up an account check out this article.
  2. Then go back to account.intellitix.com/sign-up and this time when you enter the email address add a + sign with a word before the @ symbol (for example if your email is thesmiths@email.com, now you would enter thesmiths+secondacct@email.com). This will make it look like a new email for a cashless account, but will still send any verifications to your actual email address. Then you can continue with the account creation, adding a wristband, and adding a payment method process just like you did on the first account.

Can I remove a wristband from my Intellitix Account? 

No. Once a wristband has been added to an Intellitix Account, it cannot be removed or transferred to another account. 

Why do I have a charge from the event on my card, the event hasn’t started yet?

When you save a payment method to your cashless account a small pre-authorization charge is made, then immediately refunded. This is to verify that the card you are saving is a valid card to prevent issues with using this card at the event.

What is the Freeze button for?

The Freeze button in your Intellitix Account allows you to temporarily disable your wristband from allowing it to be used for purchases. For example, if you lose your wristband at the event and have a payment method attached to it you can freeze it until you are able to get to a customer service station and have it replaced so that someone else can’t use it if they find it. If you accidentally freeze the wristband or end up finding it, you can unfreeze it from the same place in your account to resume being able to make purchases.

I’m being asked to create an organization and add my company, what is this?

If you’re being asked to create an organization please navigate to the cashless account platform instead at: account.intellitix.com to either click create your account or enter your account details and sign in.

Can I still make purchases if I don’t create an Intellitix Account and add a payment method?

Yes, you will also have the option to purchase using a credit or debit card at all of the vendors inside the event. You will still be asked to tap your wristband to begin the purchase process even if you have not created your account. This will allow you to still see all of your transactions if you do decide to make an account at a later time.

At the Event

What do I need to bring with me to pick up or replace my wristband at the Box Office?

If your wristband didn't arrive by mail and you plan to collect it at will call, you will need to bring your ID. If you purchased after the shipping cut-off you would have received an email with a PDF ticket and can bring that to will call as well. 

How do I make a purchase at the event?

Once you’re at a vendor location:

  1. Tap your wristband on the device as indicated by the staff.
  2. Place your order with the staff.
  3. If you’re paying with your credit or debit card tap, swipe or insert the card on the card reader. If you added funds to your wristband or saved a payment method to your wristband in your Intellitix Account then tap your wristband a second time to confirm your transaction.

Can I split the cost of something with a friend?

No, you cannot split payment for an item. Only one wristband can be used to open the transaction, and that same wristband or one credit/debit card must be used to close and confirm the purchase. This is a security feature to ensure the purchaser is in control of their own spending.

My wristband is not working. I need help to scan into areas of the event or make purchases. What should I do?

Visit one of the box offices at the event on Friday and Saturday. 

What to expect if you need to get a replacement wristband?

Lost or stolen wristbands can be deactivated and replaced at the box office. The cost to replace a lost, stolen, or damaged wristband will be $10. You will need to bring your ID.
