Introduction
Intellitix Guest Account holders have the option to log into their account and freeze their wristband/RFID credential (hereafter referred to as “wristband”) for an event. This is a vital safety feature that you can use in case your wristband goes missing or is stolen. Freezing your wristband prevents any unauthorized transactions and helps your peace of mind, even if you are not able to get the wristband replaced right away. Unfreezing a frozen wristband is also an option for your convenience.
NOTE: You will need to visit a box office at the applicable event to replace your wristband if you need a new one.
NOTE: You can only use the freeze feature once you have set up your Intellitix Guest Account and added your wristband to it for the applicable event. If you did not do so and it has been lost or stolen, you will need to visit a box office at the event for further assistance.
Freezing Your Wristband
Perform the following steps if you need to freeze your wristband.
- Log into your Intellitix Guest Account and use the search bar or the list of events on the Welcome [Your Name] screen to find the specific event that you are attending.
- Click the View link next to the applicable event. The Freeze Wallet option displays on the next screen beside the Wallet Balance amount near the top-right corner of the screen.

Click the Freeze Wallet option. A confirmation dialog box displays with the following question:
Are you sure you want to freeze this wallet? - Click the Confirm button. The dialog box closes, a success message displays, and the Freeze Wallet option changes to an Unfreeze Wallet option. Your wristband is now frozen and is prevented from making purchases.
If someone tries to start a purchase or Top-up transaction with a wristband that is frozen, the following message will display to the vendor on their point-of-sale device. The vendor will not be able to complete the transaction.
Unfreezing Your Wristband
Some wristbands get found after they have been frozen. If this happens to your wristband, you will be able to unfreeze the wristband from your Intellitix Guest Account the same way that you froze it.
Perform the following steps if you need to unfreeze your wristband.
- Log into your Intellitix Guest Account and use the search bar or the list of events on the Welcome [Your Name] screen to find the specific event that you are attending.
- Click the View link next to the applicable event. The Unfreeze Wallet option displays on the next screen beside the Wallet Balance amount near the top-right corner of the screen.

Click the Unfreeze Wallet option. A confirmation dialog box displays with the following question:
Are you sure you want to unfreeze this wallet? - Click the Confirm button. The dialog box closes, a success message displays, and the Unfreeze Wallet option changes to a Freeze Wallet option. Your wristband is now unfrozen and is able to make purchases or receive Top-up funds.
